We understand some of you are still absent due to waiting for covid-19 test results and are self-isolating, if you are then please continue to follow our class pages so that you can continue your education from home. It is very important that you inform school immediately if your child shows any of the covid-19 symptoms.
Children in 1R will have PE on Thursdays and Fridays please can you send your child in school dressed in their PE Kits as we are not keeping them in school during the week.

Phonics
Phonics is an important part of Year 1 it helps them with their reading and writing. The children will complete a test at the end of the year so it is vital you support your child with their phonics.
I have added some support on phonics below to help your child with their phonics.
When you write your sentences make sure you use a capital letter at the beginning of your sentence and remember finger spaces and also your full stops.
You must use your phonics to help you sound out the words you don't know how to spell. Most of all enjoy your writing!
