Coronavirus Outbreak - Homework Letter 16th March 2020

Dear Parents / Carers,

 

Homework in the event of school closure or absence.

 

Your child will be bringing home a work pack so that in the event that we are forced to close, they have plenty of work to do. We are very keen to minimise the impact that a closure may have on your child’s education.

 

They will also be given their login’s to Education City which can be accessed by:

and we are able to take advantage of an offer from Twinkl, a resource that we use in school which will allow unlimited free access during the Coronavirus Outbreak in the event of school closures. Access Twinkl by:

Please make sure that you encourage your child/ children to:

 

  • read every day for at least 20 minutes
  • learn their times tables
  • practice their number bonds in EYFS and KS1
  • practice their phonics in EYFS and KS1
